Can a once in a lifetime love, find a second chance?

I was able to watch this again and still it left me wanting more.

so Paige (Rachel McAdams), an artist, and Leo (Channing Tatum), a record studio owner, are a young attractive happily married couple in Chicago. Then a sudden car accident caused Paige a head injury and made her lose her memory of the last four years, including her marriage to Leo (lesson: do not make out in a car in the middle of the road)

She wakes up in the hospital and turns into her former self, an ultra-obedient law student in love with her ex-fiance, and her wealthy estranged parents show up and try to separate her from Leo.

So what Leo does is make her fall in love with him all over again. He asks her out on a “first date,” eating random chocolates at Cafe Mnemonic and a dip in a lake. Though they ended up making out, she still doesn’t remember him but he still waits patiently through it all. At times it looks like she might remember then at others it seems apparent she will not. This adds to the depth of the plot and the impact of the story.

I just love Leo. Channing’s potrayal just made it even better because of his charm. There are a lot of times where I just wanna hug him because he tries really hard to make his wife remember him and their love to the point that he cannot take it anymore. Rachel is the perfect Paige because she makes the character admirable even if she doesn’t always act the way you want.

I love the way they ended the film. There was no kiss or whatsoever. They just went back to the place that is important to them and asked what happened to their lives in the past 6 months. And though they had a divorce, at least we knew they still ended up with each other and made new memories.

This is one of the best romantic movies I’ve ever seen, plus the fact that it was based on a true story made this film even better.

here are my favorite quotes from the film. These are mostly from Leo since his lines are epic.

Paige: I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands, to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home.

Leo: How do you look at the woman you love, and tell yourself that its time to walk away? (God this is heartbreaking!)

Leo: You figured it out once. You’ll do it again.

Paige: Are you trying to make me diabetic or just fat? (I just need to add this because it’s funny)

because I’m done reading The Son of Neptune, I thought I’d like to watch this again even though I’ve watched this for like the nth time.

It was really a pretty good movie and i enjoyed it, though there were a lot of changes in regards with the book, like Percy was supposed to be claimed by his father Poseidon in the capture the flag game, the fight of Ares and Percy, and the actual Prophecy and quest of Percy.

The plot was shortened and edited, and I understand that, but a lot of the essence of the story is lost. I was also disappointed when they did not include Ares and Clarisse (his daughter) in the film because I think they are important characters throughout the series.

But the three actors, Logan Lerman (Percy), Alexandra Daddario (Annabeth) and Brandon Jackson (Grover) were really such good actors and i enjoyed watching them. I also like the special effects which were really amazing.

After watching the film, i decided to read the series again :) yey!

*the sequel of this film, Sea of Monsters, is on 2013 and I can’t wait!*

haha a movie for kids xD well there’s not much of a story for me and it was kinda boring. but the candy factory was really beautiful. haha!

well for me the plot was shallow. E.B the bunny doesn’t want to be the Easter Bunny coz he wants to be a drummer while Fred doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life.

in the end, they Fred realizes that he wants to be the Easter Bunny so they became co-easter bunnies. finally Fred knew what he wanted and being an Easter Bunny finally made his family, especially his dad to be proud of him. huh?? xD

so yea that’s it. at least the animation was good :)

oh i loved the movie! it was really funny (though it seems like Mater was the main character xD)

it was funny when Mater was mistaken as an undercover American spy. he was somewhat an idiot but he can really pull off his missions xD oh and i love their races in Japan, London etc.. it was like real. the animation was really good.

the movie was ok. it was really interesting how they made Chris Evans looked small and skinny in the beginning, and then suddenly became that buff xD

it’s story was good. it was just disappointing that Captain America was somewhat just a mere symbol and they just made this movie to introduce the Avengers.

but Chris Evans is so handsome so all was ok xD hahaha!

well, i liked the movie.. since Emma Stone was in it and Ryan Gosling is so hot here xD but i expected more scenes from them so i was quite disappointed. nonetheless, i enjoyed the movie, though there are some parts that were boring for me. i especially loved the confrontation part near the end. it was really funny xD

i love Emma Stone! just sayin’ :)

OYEA! Kung Fu Panda 2 is just pure awesomeness :) and i must say it was better than the first film.

so this is a film about Po, and the rest of kung fu clan, who must defeat a new villain who’s armed with gunpowder and cannons. the movie’s surprisingly moving as they showed Po’s discovery of where he really came from and his acceptance of his unusual upbringing. and yea there’s plenty of action. i love the part where he finally found his “inner peace” and and controlled Lord Shen’s weapon like a dodge ball xD

i love the film :) and it has a part 3!!!

i downloaded this because i thought it was funny, and James Franco was in it. yes it was funny but i never thought that i has a lot of gore scenes, and some pervert languages and scenes >.< good thing James Franco is handsome. hahaha!

Natalie Portman was very pretty and sexy, and Zooey Deschanel was cute playing an idiot princess xD love her!

OYEAA! Hannah Montana! i don’t know but i just feel like watching this. it was actually a good movie and i had fun watching it, even though i’m not really a huge fan of Miley (i actually don’t like her much xD)

so this is about Hannah, who’s popularity is slowly taking her life. her father then decides to take her to a trip to their hometown of Crowley Corners to get her some dose of reality :)

well the storyline was good :) i especially loved the scene where Miley and her father were singing Butterfly Fly away. that was really touching.

oh and i love the cameos of Tyra Banks ang Rascal Flatts :) Tyra did some shoe fight with Hannah that was so hilarious xD and Rascal Flatts sang God Bless the Broken Road :)

*i just noticed Miley’s front teeth is somewhat crooked xD maybe that’s why she always pouts xD*

the movie was okay. not so special for me… aside from Kristen Bell’s adorableness and Josh Duhamel’s hotness xD

so Kristen Bell plays a career girl who has no time for love. at he sister’s wedding in Rome, she took five coins from a love fountain after she saw Nick (Duhamel) kissing another girl and got drunk. that made the five owners of that coin to fall in love with her and eventually stalk her. there’s a sausage king, a model, a painter, and a magician. they all did absurd ways to win her heart (sausage gift, nude mural of her, bus ads, etc.)

well it was still funny but some scenes were kinda boring. but i really love Kristen Bell. i first saw her in You Again and she was so adorable. and Josh Duhamel was handsome as always.
